Payment Details:

Fees are determined annually by the Governing Body.

Fees are payable in advance on the first day of each term. However, arrangements can be made with the Bursar to pay a year’s fees by standing order over ten months.

Sibling Discount:

When three or more siblings attend the school concurrently (from Reception to Year 13), a 20% discount is applied to the basic school fees of the youngest child.

Withdrawal Notice:

Parents are reminded that a full term’s notice is required in writing/by email to the Headmaster (headmaster@altonschool.co.uk) if a pupil is to be withdrawn from the school.

Bursaries

The Governors of Alton School are committed to broadening access to the school by offering means tested bursaries to eligible families.  A limited number of bursaries up to 50% of school fees are available each year. Larger awards might be considered in exceptional circumstances by the Bursary Committee.

The number of bursaries may vary from year to year, as it depends upon the availability of funds. The bursaries are awarded by the Bursary Committee which meets during the Spring term to consider applications received for the next academic year.
