Christmas Fayre 2023
On Friday 1 December, our Alton School community immersed in the yuletide spirit at the Christmas Fayre, hosted by our dedicated PTFA. The Drama Studio transformed into a winter wonderland with an array of stalls, featuring everything from dazzling jewellery and Christmas cards to charming home decor.
Excitement filled the air as pupils eagerly explored the various attractions, including a sweet stand, a photo booth, the hanging doughnuts challenge, face painting, and more. The karaoke corner emerged as a crowd-pleaser, echoing with festive tunes and a sprinkle of ABBA magic.
Undoubtedly, the highlight of the afternoon was Santa’s Grotto, where our elves, with boundless cheer, assisted Santa in delivering joy and presents to our younger pupils.
Heartfelt gratitude goes to our incredible PTFA for orchestrating yet another triumphant fayre.

Gold Duke of Edinburgh for Alumni
Congratulations to Michael, a former pupil of Alton Convent School, on achieving his Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. Michael celebrated this milestone by attending the Gold DofE Celebration at Buckingham Palace on his 18th birthday! During the event, he received a personal introduction to HRH Prince Edward, who extended birthday greetings and congratulations on his award. [...]
