The Prep School continues to hit the high notes!

Every child in the Prep School was involved in our Open Day performance, not only demonstrating confidence as performers, but also presenting their music with a sense of fun. Reception started off by giving a delightful performance of Hungry Little Caterpillar, followed by Years 1 and 2, yet again, showing mastery with their 2 part singing in For God so Loved the World. Chanteurs continued with a polished account of Look at the World, and was then joined by the prep orchestra in an arrangement of My heart will go on from the film, Titanic. This linked with our them for the day, Greatest Show, as did the orchestra’s lively version of Meet the Flintstones. Asa captivated the large audience with his vocal solo, Count on me. The Upper prep then went into House singing mode! Firmly rooted in our showtime theme, each House sang and danced their way through a different ABBA song. The charm and energy the children brought to every performance was clear, and delivered with a distinct sense of fun. The climax of the morning came in the form of a huge, whole school performance of This is me – what a sound! Well done to all, it really was a magnificent morning.
